Making a phone call

Using the dial pad in the Call Log, you get the possibility to make phone calls through the Totalview Telephony system. To open the dial pad, click on the pad icon  . Starting to type a telephone number will filter the list to only show numbers that contain the same digit sequence.

Once the number is typed, you can choose to either make a call via your mobile device or via your organizations telephony system. That way, you can control the number that is shown on the receiving device. In order to specifically set the displayed number, you can use Outbound Caller Id’s (only for 3CX).


In order to set the number that is used to “Call via workplace”, please refer to Changing the remote number of the settings page. If the user does not have a local device, then the “Call via workplace button” is not shown.
